FRENCH ONION SOUP |
6 Cups Onions, thinly sliced

1/2 Cup Dry White Wine
|
Mix first 7 ingredients in a large saucepan. Simmer for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°. Place the bread slices on a cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with cheese. Spoon the soup into bowls. Place the bread and cheese on top. Microwave for 30 seconds or until the cheese melts. Serve. |
