Ingredients:
1 cup chopped onions
2 TBLS margarine (light smart balance)*
3 TBLS all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups beef broth with onion*
1/2 cup A-1 sauce
1# lean beef steak *(used eye of round I believe)
16 oz frozen Broccoli, Cauliflower, and carrot mixture

Cooking Instructions:
Cook onion in margarine until tender. Blend in flour; cook one minute more. Add broth and steak sauce; cook and stir until mixture thickens and begins to boil. Stir in steak and vegetables. Spoon in to 8 inch square glass baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees until bubbly. Makes 4 servings. (Original recipe called for a top crust.) Use prepared pastry for 1 crust pie and 1 egg beaten. roll it out and seal crust to edge of baking dish. brush with egg. slit top of crust to vent. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
