1/4 pound 95% lean/5% fat raw ground beef
1 large onion(s)
1 cup celery
1/2 cup carrot(s)
14 oz Del Monte Diced Tomatoes
14 1/2 oz canned beef broth
|
2 tsp parsley
1 tsp cilantro
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp rosemary
1 tsp canned tomato paste
8 cloves Roasted garlic

Brown beef. Using a 1/2 lb there wasn't much fat so I left it in and added onions, celery and carrots. Cook until onions are translucent and carrots and celery are tender. Add diced tomatoes and spices, cook for about 10 minutes to blend flavors. Add roasted garlic cloves and broth, simmer for additional 20-25 minutes.
