Tomato Soup

| Ingredients: |
1 can (29 oz.) tomatoes, crushed
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. skim soy milk
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
|
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 tsp. onion powder
Pinch of thyme leaves
1 tsp. parsley flakes

| Cooking Instructions: |
1. Place tomatoes and sugar in a medium saucepan;
simmer, covered, while preparing sauce.
2. In a large saucepan, heat milk almost to a boil; add
cornstarch that has been mixed with water in a jar,
stirring sonstantly, until thickened.
3. Stir tomatoes gradually into sauce, stirring constantly.
4. Serve immediately.
