Pasta with Chicken Sausage and Artichokes

| Ingredients: |
1 12 oz package whole wheat linguini
3/4 pound lowfat chicken sausage, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 14 oz can water-packed artichoke hearts, drained
1 26 oz jar reduced-sodium marinara sauce

| Cooking Instructions: |
1. Cook linguini according to package. No salt
2. To make sauce, spray large nonstick pan w/nonstick spray and set over med-high heat. Add sausage and cook, stir frequently until browned. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
3. Quarter artichoke hearts if they are large; add to skillet along w/marinara sauce. Reduce heat and simmer until flavors are blended; about 10 minutes.
4. Serve over linguini.
Extras: top each w/1/4 c fat free mozzarella cheese; increases pp+ values by 1.
You can use parmesan cheese if you like and use less!
