BAKED PENNE WITH SAUSAGE |
2 Whole Garlic Heads

6 Cups Low Fat Milk
|
Preheat oven to 350°. Remove skins from garlic; do not separate. Wrap each head in foil and bake for 1 hour. Cool, separate, mince and set aside. Increase oven to 400°. Remove casing from sausage. Cook in a non-stick pan until done. Drain and place in a bowl. Add sage and rosemary. Melt butter in saucepan. Spoon in flour. Gradually add milk. Cook until thick. About 10 minutes. Stir in garlic, cheeses and pepper. Remove from heat. Add 5 1/2 cups cheese sauce to pasta and sausage. Stir to coat. Place in a9 inch baking pan. Top with the remaining cheese mixture. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Serve. |
