NEW ORLEANS STYLE BARBECUED SHRIMP

48 Large Shrimp, peeled & de-veined
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Sliced Green Onion
1/2 Cup Golden Cane Syrup
1 Tablespoon Hot Sauce
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

2 Teaspoons Paprika
2 Teaspoons Dried Thyme
2 Teaspoons Ground Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
6 Garlic Cloves, crushed
2 Bay Leaves

Combine all ingredients except shrimp. Mix well. Put in a bowl or plastic bag. Add shrimp and marinate for 3 hours. Place shrimp on skewers. Coat with more of the marinade. Grill for 6 minutes, or until shrimp is done.
