ASPARAGUS MELT SANDWICH

16 Asparagus Spears
3 Tablespoons Fat Free Mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon Pesto, commercial
2 Slices Sourdough Bread, toasted

2 Slices Ham, thin
4 Slices Tomato
2 Slices Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese
Black Pepper

Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus. Steam covered for 2 minutes or until crisp. Preheat broiler. Combined mayonnaise and pesto in a bowl. Spread the mixture on 1 side of both bread slices. Layer each slice with 8 spears asparagus, 1 ham slice, 2 tomatoslices, and 1 mozzarella slice. Place on a baking sheet. Broil for 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve.
